Mr. Shirian joined the firm in 1993 and became a member of the Board of Directors in 1999.
Experience Summary:
Mr. Shirian's primary responsibilities at Bridgers & Paxton include the design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems for educational, commercial, office, library, museum, laboratory, detention/prison, and medical facilities. He is familiar with both traditional design/bid projects as well as design/build. His experience covers all aspects of mechanical design and project management and includes performing mechanical systems studies, indoor air quality studies, construction management, estimating, and facility as-built documentation for B&P projects. As a Principal/Project Manager, he has been successful in team leadership, maintaining good client relations, and coordinating system requirements with owners, architects, and other consultants.

Mr. Shirian specializes at B&P in the design of heat pump and heat recovery systems, including ground couple heat pump systems; and all air systems, including single duct VAV and dual duct systems.

His primary clients include the University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, University of New Mexico Hospital and Medical Center, New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology, Western New Mexico University, and Albuquerque Public Schools.
