Building Information Modeling
Bridgers & Paxton Consulting Engineers provides Building Information Modeling (BIM) services supporting our clients design and engineering needs in the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, technology, instrumentation & controls disciplines. BIM services focus on enhancing project quality using 3D modeling and 4D phasing tools along with the B&P BIM Project Process which includes BIM project contracting, planning and implementation elements from the AIA E202 Building Information Protocol Exhibit and the BIM Project Execution Planning Guide V2.0.
B&P continues to advance both its BIM and CAD expertise through an employee evaluation and mentoring program coupled with specialized internal and external training in the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology disciplines. BIM project assignments are distributed thoughtfully to provide our modelers, designers and engineers hands-on project experience with BIM methodology and Revit software application across all disciplines. Distribution of project workload provides more team members the opportunity to be involved in BIM projects and increases the number of employees with actual BIM project experience.

Our technology consulting team is well versed in the management, planning, engineering and design of technology systems. Our staff members have many industry leading certifications by organizations like Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) and InfoComm. In the Information Transport Systems specialty, we currently employ four Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD), one Network Technology Systems Designer (NTS) and one Outside Plant Designer (OSP). Sustainable/Renewable Design
Bridgers & Paxton Consulting Engineers has been a leader in sustainable design since the 1950's, when Frank Bridgers and Don Paxton designed the world's first solar water heated commercial office building. Since the early 1960's, B&P has been a nationally recognized leader in solar heating and heat recovery design. Many of our original designs are still in use today. In the 1970s and 1980s, we were a national leader in the design and implementation of solar energy systems and thermal energy storage systems.
We also had an early commitment to the LEED certification process. We have been a member of the USGBC since 2001 and we are an Energy Star Partner. With over 21 LEED Accredited Professionals with various specialties and over 80 projects designed for LEED certification, we bring a vast amount of knowledge to our building designs.
