Nestled at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains in the Sonoran Desert, the Miraval Resort underwent an extensive renovation in 2012. What was once a yogi’s dream retreat, B&P was able to create a relaxing atmosphere, yet bring life to the resort villas and wellness spa through ambient lighting and upgraded HVAC systems, solar water heating and low-flow plumbing fixtures for the villas, guestrooms and yoga/meditation/fitness center and administrative support spaces.
Designed around the aesthetics that make up the desert, the world-renowned resort consist of 15 villas, 16 guestrooms and suites in addition to a meditation and yoga studio and fitness center. Miraval is not just a resort, but a timeless community where people gather to calm the soul and balance the mind.
